NOAH Graduation Date Approaches
The Graduation Committee is calling a very important meeting about the NOAH Gradaution this Thursday February 24th @7pm at Springs of Grace church.
We will be making very important decisions that night and handing out time-sensitive information.

Even if you're a part of another homeschool graduation event, take time to celebrate this milestone with your NOAH family, as well.

Anyone that has questions can contact:
Dawn Calloway
(918)833-2591
Feature:Youth Tackle Football Survey

Due to the tremendous success (see Vype article) of our NOAH Junior High and High School football programs over the past seven years, we have had many inquiries regarding a tackle youth football program that would feed into our Junior High program. We are now ready to look into the launch of a full padded/tackle youth football program in the fall of this year!!

Although we are close, a guaranteed acceptance into a league has not yet been confirmed and there are still many details to work out.

We want to first start by “checking-the-pulse”. If you have (or know of families that have) boys that are:
1.       From the ages of 7 – 12 on or before September 1, 2011.
2.       Meet the NOAH definition of being homeschooled. (See Attached)
3.       Interested in a Christian youth tackle football program.

Please reply to president@noahjags.org with the below information and/or forward to those families that you think would have interest.

Developmental Soccer:
NOAH is asking for feedback on recreational and developmental soccer for Elementary and Junior High boys and girls.
If sufficient interest and leadership is organized, NOAH would consider expanding soccer in the Fall, for developmental leagues.
If your family has interest in  youth Soccer, please send us your information, here.

Volunteer to Coach Any Sport:
NOAH thrives as a result of homeschool parents who are willing and able to coach in NOAH sports.
Perhaps you've wanted to help develop young athletes, but no one ever asked you to help? This is your personal invitation to register with our leadership database.
Please fill out the simple form, online and our administrators will match you up with the Athletic Directors who can assist you in getting started as a coach.
We do screen our coaches to make sure the children are kept safe. Please do not be offended when we  discretely verify your information. All of us submit to the same confidential background checks.

EXTRA: NOAH Defeats 6A, Sand Springs

Jerusha Blankenship seals a win
NOAH Girls Basketball added another momentous achievement, Saturday afternoon; defeating the #10 team in Oklahoma's 6A ranks.
Jerusha Blankenship made a clinching jumper at the buzzer to edge the Sandites; 46-44.

This win is key to NOAH Girls' goal of a national title, next month.   Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschools is in the Top Five among Homeschool girls teams, according to HSlive365.com . While carrying an 12-9 overall record, NOAH has earned  a respected place in Oklahoma prep circles which allows them to compete with the very best teams.
Curtis Branch

Head Coach, Curtis Branch, does not shy away from any competition. His "take all comers" philosophy is a strategy to "play up". Its intended to toughen the team for postseason, at the Homeschool National Tournament, in Springfield, MO.
