John 3:16 Project Cancelled

Important Notice! Posted: 18 Nov 2010 06:19 PM PST I want to thank everyone that responded to volunteering for the John 3:16 service project.   Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled.  The Mission was uanble to secure a store location due to the stores' prior commitments to other organizations.     After speaking with the Volunteer Coordinator, she did express her gratitude and regret (since the center's foodbank is at an all time low).  It is still not too late to donate for their thanksgiving project.  Take a moment to check out their website.  They are taking donations for turkeys, macaroni & cheeze, canned vegetables, canned yams, pumpkin pie filling.   There are also organizations that are matching the turkey donations.  www.john316mission.org  I know they would appreciate your support.   Again, thank you!   Shelley Roberts

Housewarming Help Needed This is for Andrea, Coach Malcolm Andrews widow and family. Dear NOAH Family,    Andrea and family are moving into a new rental home not far from Springs of Grace Bible Church.  They are trying to make a new start and have some move in needs if any one has some available furniture to give. These are items she is willing to buy but we thought we should check with people first.    Specific needs are: refrigerator, full size or larger bed and mattress; 1 set of bunk beds, chairs, dressers, kitchen items (dishes, pots, pans, etc.)    You can bring items to Springs of Grace church or call Andrea (918 951 4805) about delivering bigger items. 2010 NOAH Graduation Ceremony If you have a graduate that would like to participate in the NOAH graduation ceremony. I would like to invite you to the meeting that will get things started.  If you would like to help with the planning of the ceremony please email me at Fayard@NOAHjags.org. NOAH Soccer Leaders Needed

    The NOAH Board is looking for new soccer leadership. Jaguar Soccer will need a new Athletic Director for the upcoming Spring season.We ask all homeschool families to help us find the leaders that can develop the Soccer program while continuing the great tradition of boys and girls varsity soccer.

    Varsity squads will compete in Spring Homeschool National Championships, in Springfield, MO.

    Youth developmental and recreational soccer provides a great opportunity for homeschool families. NOAH is pursuing a feasibility study for fielding local league teams. Developmental league season is early March thru early May.

Basketball Begins  2010-2011 Season     NOAH's flagship sport, basketball; begins its 14th season this month. Some exciting new additions are in store for all the many Jaguars teams.     Chris Moody is beginning his first year as Athletic Director. NOAH's new basketball program guide will be published later this month. The guide will feature the entire Jaguars basketball operations and showcase all the new NOAH sponsors. Basketball families are signing up advertisers and sponsors as a way to offset the increasing costs of the athletic program. If you or your business or organizational contacts would like to support NOAH through a sponsorship or advertisement, please contact basketball@NOAHjags.org, or ask a current basketball player.     Tulsa Shock is working with NOAH and providing great instruction.
