1. The 2 remaining varsity home games are at B.A. South Intermediate (see map).

2. The rental arrangement is more costly to NOAH than last year, and the team travel schedule is much more costly this year. Your paid attendance is essential to funding this homeschool opportunity.

3. McDonalds is teaming up with NOAH to help maintain a low ticket price.
Fans purchasing a season ticket will get a special promotion coupon from McDonalds. Season tickets for the remaining 2 games are $6 for kids and $10 for adults.
Single game tickets are now $4 for kids and $6 for adults.

4. NOAH Football is building a base of corporate sponsorships to provide a stable financial base to underwrite the growing costs of the athletic program. Please ask your organizations and business contacts to consider partnering with NOAH to meet an important community need.

Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine News
First of all: Thank You!   For several years The all-volunteer leadership of NOAH have made every effort to provide our families' young athletes with as safe an environment as can be provided in competitive sports.

Several volunteers have provided their expertise to care for injuries and other ailments. The list of trainers and medical professionals is a long one and each of us draws comfort just from knowing there is help when an athlete needs it.  Our greatest thanks just seems insufficient to express the gratitude that all our families feel.

While we will always rely on our many volunteers, we have great news to announce in the care of our athletes in greatest need. The respected professionals at Central States Orthopedic Specialists are now volunteering  their services on Fridays, at our varsity football games, in the Tulsa metro area.

NOAH athlete & CSOS trainer
Professional guidance at the crucial moments following an injury can be priceless in assuring a limited inconvenience, or critical to protecting the life and livelihood of a young student-athlete.

If sideline guidance is sufficient; an athlete can begin treatment before leaving the stadium. Often this prevents the need to see an after-hours medical facility and further medical expense.

If further care is needed, families will have better guidance on where to seek it and when. Often parents can get instructions and knowledge of what to expect and what to watch out for.
The CSOS clinic is also available on Monday mornings for follow up. Followup care away from the stadium is not a part of the volunteer services, so expect common medical fees to apply when you leave the stadium.
Head Football Coach Joe Blankenship encourages his athletes to seek specialists in sports medicine when an injury requires professional care.
He says;  "They can often help you recover in a significantly shorter time than your family physician may be equipped to offer."
Monthly Newsletter
Sports Medicine Monthly is a free newsletter that CSOS sends monthly to anyone requesting to subscribe. To subscribe today, click here.
You never know when an injury might need your assistance, so learning how to avoid or treat an injury is important to be prepared for.
The monthly newsletter also advises on healthy training habits and ways to avoid stress injuries.

Call to Serve
NOAH's Board of Directors is seeking to fill 2 positions on the board. Persons who are available and prepared to serve are encouraged to contact President Fred Sabatini to discuss the positions further. The board term is 3 years. Meetings are held monthly. This is a unique opportunity to make NOAH a lasting institution for homeschool families.
NOAH is now in it's 13th year and still growing. It would not exist without the visionary pioneers of the past. Please honor their legacy by offering your skills and perspectives. Whether it be coaching, coordinating, or any form of serving, as a homeschool family, you have a place in NOAH.

 A Note of Thanks
NOAH's effectiveness is greatly enhanced by our many sponsors. Many organizations donate goods, and property to assist our many volunteer coaches. Please take time to thank them for helping make an opportunity for young homeschoolers to develop and aspire to their athletic potential. And say "thank you" often to the coaches and coordinators who serve faithfully.
