NOAH Events 8/29 to 9/4

Here's what's happening:

Volleyball Fundraiser
Tuesday Night

Join the girls for a great time at Tulsa's most unique pizza parlor. Top That! Pizza (8223 So. Memorial Dr.) is hosting a Jaguar event and giving 20% of the designated receipts to NOAH's volleyball program.

For just $6.99 you can load your own 10" pizza just the way you think pizza was meant to be created. Their topping options are vast and you'll enjoy getting to hear about the biggest year yet for NOAH Volleyball. Come after 5pm and help us get the party started. We'll be gathering until 9pm and enjoying meeting all the NOAH families.

Basketball Training begins in September

All families interested in NOAH Basketball are expected at a basketball meeting on Sept. 27th. Some teams will begin skills training as early as Sept. 8th, so sign up now and stay informed. Read the Basketball Blog for all the details.

 NEW Cheer Squads!
NOAH Spirit is excited to present the return of Cheer leading after a 3-year absence.
An all-new leadership staff began work last June to get the squads ready for this Friday. The kids are excited to be boosting the volume and enthusiasm from all our fans. Please let the kids know you appreciate them and be extra gentle with them during this time of getting settled in.  This Fall is going to be a special time for the growing NOAH organization.

Elementary  Tackle Football
The younger boys enjoyed their very first game in the newly formed NOAH Youth football organization.  NOAH played Summit Christian this past Saturday. The kids are looking forward to a full schedule in the coming weeks. After a break this coming Saturday, the 2 squads will continue playing Saturday games against other teams from Northeast Oklahoma schools.

NO Pay/No Play

NOAH sports have always strove to make athletic opportunities accessible to all our Homeschool community. Part of that commitment includes keeping the costs down so family economics are less of a hinderance to living  out a sports dream.  To do this we need all families to commit to paying all player fees in a pre-arranged prompt manner.
If unforeseen circumstanses delay  a required payment, we do expect a timely correspondence and a reasonable commitment which does not jeopardize the organization's abilities. If payments are not made when expected, an athlete should expect his participation to be prohibited.
If we do not have complete cooperation to pay team expenses, all other players will incur added burdens that a noncompliant family inadvertantly shifts onto the others.
Thank you, to all the families who have faithfully and cooperatively met their obligations.
Occasionally outside benefactors have assisted  low-income homeschool athletes with their participation fees.  If you find yourself in this position, please contact your Athletic Directer to see what outside sources might be available to you.
