NOAH Events: August 15th - 21st

Here's what's happening:

NOAH Turns 14  Welcome to NOAH's 14th year of Homeschool Sports! NOAH now has more competitive sports options than ever before!
NOAH Spirit has resumed the Cheer program this year and is expanding with a new Pep Squad called "The Black & Blue Crew". We look forward to great excitement at our varsity competitions with creative and organized demonstrations of support.
Football has expanded into Elementary Tackle league play. Boys can now begin tackle at age 7. Varsity Football will have 5 home games with the opener set for Sept. 2nd versus an old rival; Springfield Homeschool Chargers. The I-44 rivalry includes Junior High games in the Friday night lights!
Baseball expands to Fall developmental leagues. Several NOAH teams are now winning State and National honors.
Basketball continues to be strong with excellent participation.
Soccer is striving to expand to youth developmental teams for younger athletes.
Tennis is making big strides and earning major media attention.
Golf is just completing its first year since a decade ago. Many opportunities are available to  interested homeschool athletes.
Volleyball is at capacity with 3 full squads.
Shooting sports now hold a team state championship and is on track to double its participation over the next year.
The success is due to committed coaches and leaders, along with great homeschool spirit demonstrated by families who are committed to developing their children to be leaders of tomorrow.

2011 NOAH Fall Tennis Begins Sept 5th

As the oppressive heat finally breaks, we are pleased to announce that NOAH is providing an opportunity for 6th graders and up to play Fall Tennis.  This is a great opportunity to work on your strokes leading up to 2012 Spring Tennis.  This is a relaxed atmosphere to get some court time with our NOAH coaches who will be available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for six weeks.  The schedule is as follows:
   1. Kids new to tennis will practice from 5 to 6 PM.  If you are new to NOAH come to this time slot.  The coaches will move your student to the experienced group, if appropriate.

 2.   Experienced kids will practice from 6 to 7 PM.  We will need some of the experienced kids to assist with the new kids at 5 PM.

NOAH’s home courts are at Benedict Park which is located near Hillcrest Hospital, 12th and Utica.

The cost will be as follows; $25 and no uniforms will be required. Fall Tennis is not mandatory, however the participant will have 18 sessions available, so it is hoped that all can take advantage of this opportunity.
ACTION:  Please reply back by August 28th, if you have an interest in participating in this fall tennis event.
